Modern Foreign Languages
Our curriculum gives pupils the ability to be confident communicators, and will acquire a wide vocabulary, and grammar and structures applied to learning throughout a variety of topics. Pupils will focus on the key skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing, re-visiting these grammatical themes as they moved through their topic based learning journey. Pupils will becoming increasingly adept at applying prior learning to new subject matter.

Pupils will continue to develop the communication skills acquired throughout key stage 3, and build upon this foundation to broaden and deepen their grasp of Spanish and their ability to communicate. Our confident communicators will hone their skills to be able to take part in transactional exchanges and producing extended utterances confidently in Spanish. Pupils will continue to acquire vocabulary, and practice grammar and more complex structures. Pupils will becoming increasingly adept at applying prior learning to new subject matter.
