Huge congratulations to our newly qualified referees!
In the past two weeks we've successfully supported 6 students from Year 10, to become "Qualified Referees".
Our Year 10's, "were a credit to both themselves and our Academy" said Daniel Algoba, Manchester Hub Officer at St. Cuthberts RC High School Rochdale, which was one of the venues used.
The training consisted of face-to-face training, mixed classroom learning with practical activities on the pitch. Key messages from the online learning (completed prior) were reinforced throughout the training.

- How to establish rapport and build relationships with players and coaches
- Recognising and dealing with foul challenges and handball
