MVP Programme at Manchester United

Yesterday I took six of our students (Wayaday, Rafael, Niamh, Layba, Musarat and Tomas) to Old Trafford for the day. The reason for this visit, was for the students to attend a full days training around the Mentor in Violence Prevention programme. During our time together we look into the qualities needs to be a good mentor, Idols and the impact they have on others and also the expectations of the actual role for our six mentors.  We finished our training by going on a Stadium Tour!

I was taken aback and filled with joy to see how excited everyone was. I was even happier with how well-mannered each student were to our tour guide,  asking for permission to touch the shirts, sit in seats and listening when the tour guide was speaking. I say it a lot and I do mean it every time; each student represented the Academy in such a positive light.
