Learning Today: Leading Tomorrow!

Welcome to Co-op Academy Strinesdale

Supporting every student to succeed.

In September 2026, Co-Op Academy Strinesdale was opened. We named the academy ‘Strinesdale’ after the local reservoir. The name choice reflects the commitment of the academy to support the local area.

Co-op Academies Trust was awarded the academy because of their strong record of good schools in Manchester and the North West. We support every student to succeed, behaviour is exemplary and our classrooms thrive. Improving the lives of young people and their communities is at the heart of everything we do.

A Warm Welcome
From our Principal

Mr Bottomley

At Co-op Academy Strinesdale, we support every student to succeed. We are committed to ensuring that every young person leaves us at the end of Year 11 with exceptional educational outcomes. Alongside these outcomes, students will leave us with a wide range of enrichment experiences, allowing them to make ambitious, informed decisions for their future. I believe that every child has unique potential, and it is our responsibility to nurture and develop it. With the support of our dedicated teachers, staff and governors, we provide an ambitious and inclusive curriculum that enables our students to become well-rounded, adaptable individuals, equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.
